Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@donutseason.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Once your return is received, allow 2 business days for return processing, and then your refund will be issued back to the account or card used to purchase. It can take ~2-5 business days for the funds to appear back in your account, based on the speed with which your financial institution processes this.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

All items are made to order by real live humans, so there can be slight variation from item to item. While rare, misprints occasionally happen, and we are committed to resolving these quickly with the buyer's preference of either a replacement or refund.

Please email photos clearly showing the issue to hello@donutseason.com with your order number (replying to your order confirmation or shipping email(s) is great!). If the item is apparel, please take a photo of the item lying flat.

Please note that badge reels are only rated to hold a maximum of 3oz, and placing additional badges or heavy items on the reel, or extending the line fully to the point the reel can no longer turn, can contribute to failure of the badge reel line to fully recoil. We will provide a good faith replacement in the event of a manufacturer defect, which is defined as malfunction/failure of the reel mechanism within 60 days of purchase. Please email hello@donutseason.com and provide a photo explaining the issue if you need to request a replacement. We cannot provide replacements for long term wear and tear after this time period, as we do not offer a warranty for any items.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and digital products (instant download prints, cards, etc). 


Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearanced items or gift cards.


Exchanges
We process exchanges as a return and a new purchase. Once the return is accepted, your refund will be issued. The new item will be a separate transaction and can be purchased at any time since it is not dependent on the return.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
